Positive Partnerships- Workshops and Online Learning

Positive Partnerships is a national project funded by the Australian Government Department of Education through the Helping Children with Autism program.

They provide practical tools and resources across a range of autism-related topics to help you better understand and support those with autism.

Positive Partnerships offer free workshops around Australia to provide information and strategies to support students, families and schools. Positive Partnerships also provide webinars, an Online Learning Hub with professional learning modules and more.

CALD resources

These resources have been developed with culturally and linguistically diverse communities to support their school-aged children on the autism spectrum.

Positive Partnerships have resources available in 22 languages.

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander resources

These Positive Partnerships resources have been written and developed alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, schools and communities across the country. It also includes a link to download the First Nations People Framework.

Parent and Carer Workshops

Join Positive Partnerships for 1 or 2 days of learning and sharing with and from other parents and carers of school-aged children on the autism spectrum. The workshops are designed to help you understand your young person and foster productive school, family and community relationships.

Webinars

To help support families, carers and educators of children on the autism spectrum, Positive Partnerships schedule regular webinars which are free for you to participate. Each webinar runs for an hour and discusses a range of topics in greater detail.

Autism programs for Teachers

Creating autism friendly schools helps create more inclusive learning environments in which all students succeed and flourish. Positive Partnerships professional programs and modules are designed to assist educators to create real change in their school settings and establish learning environments that will reach all learners.
