Our Partners

The WA Digital Inclusion Project is a joint effort between community organisations, peak bodies, WA State Government, NBN Co, and our major supporter Lotterywest.

The Project Partner Network (PPN) connects representatives from different organisations to achieve project goals, share knowledge, and build a network. The PPN will meet at least three times per year during the project. The Chair can call for additional meetings if needed.

Lotterywest

Lotterywest is uniquely the only Government owned and operated lottery in Australia. Lotterywest have supported the community for almost 90 years through returning all available profits to the Western Australian community through direct grants and statutory allocations. Lotterywest are the major supporter of the WA Digital Inclusion Project.

NBN Co

The National Broadband Network was established in 2009 to upgrade Australia’s high-speed broadband network. NBN is the digital partner of the WA Digital Inclusion Project.

Bidyadanga Aboriginal Community La Grange  was incorporated in 1975 as a not-for-profit organisation to administer government-funded programs such as the Daycare service, Municipal Services, and agencies of Centrelink and Australia Post, for the community

Busselton Hospice Care promotes and facilitates excellence in hospice and palliative care, enabling people in our community to have the best possible access to high quality care at the end of life.

Catholic Education Western Australia

Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA) is central to the delivery of Catholic education across the state’s four Catholic dioceses ­– Broome, Bunbury, Geraldton and Perth – educating 80,000+ young people in 163 schools and colleges across WA. 

Carers WA is the peak body that represents the needs and interests of carers in Western Australia. We work to achieve an improved quality of life for family carers in our state.

Centrecare

A Catholic non-for-profit organisation that offers a range of professional social services and counselling in both metropolitan and regional areas.

CoMHWA is a consumer-led organisation that is working to achieve a strong, assertive, independent voice for social changes that reflect the needs and priorities of those with mental health issues.

Since 1983, ConnectGroups has provided practical assistance to both new and established groups to support their effective management and role in the community.

Starting life in 1959 as the Old People’s Welfare Council of Western Australia, the change to the Western Australian Council on the Ageing in 1968 also crystallised the founding principal of valuing the contribution and lived experience of older people and the advance the rights, needs and interests of older Western Australians.

The Edmund Rice Centre WA is recognised as one of Australia’s leading service providers by community groups, government and other agencies in the field. Established in 1998 to provide essential settlement services and community education activities in the northern suburbs of Perth, the Centre services have expanded more widely throughout the metropolitan area with a particular emphasis on young people and youth leadership as a way of ensuring a positive future for all.

Financial Counsellors Association of WA

The Financial Counsellors Association of WA is a peak body whose primary role is to support financial counsellors and their clients through education, information, resources, and relevant casework support. 

Foundation Housing

Foundation Housing are one of Western Australia’s largest social and affordable housing developers for those in need. They offer a variety of resources in addition to housing to help clients manage and maintain their tenancies. Foundation Housing are playing a key role in the WA Digital Inclusion project by helping to deliver the access and affordability pilot program.

Hello Initiative is a

Inclusion WA is a disability service provider working alongside individuals, community groups and government organisations to facilitate social inclusion.

Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa

KJ is a Martu organisation that was established in 2005 to work with Martu to build strong, sustainable communities. KJ is focused on three complementary objectives to support Martu to look after culture and country, build a viable economy in Martu communities; and build pathways for young Martu to a healthy future.

Legal Aid WA is the biggest provider of legal aid services in Western Australia, and the public face of the Legal Aid Commission of Western Australia.

Linkwest is the peak body for Neighbourhood and Community Resource Centres in WA. Ensuring the development of inclusive and connected communities.

Mission Australia

Mission Australia are a national organisation that aids underprivileged children and families, empowers troubled youth, offers support to those with mental illnesses and disabilities, helps individuals find safe and affordable housing and more.

MITE Radio is a new online radio station, aimed at those 50+, delivering timeless tunes from the 50s to the 80s. We’re all about making technology simple and accessible. Our goal is to empower people to enhance their lives with technology, confidently embracing and navigating the digital world. MITE Radio: Where music, memories, and technology unite.  

Moorditj Koort is a community controlled, not-for-profit organisation that supports the health and wellness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples living in WA. Moorditj Koort has a range of programs designed to help Indigenous peoples in our community.

NIT Connect was founded to empower students and alumni to connect and engage in meaningful activities to help each other through mentoring opportunities and to give back and feel connected to the wider community.

NIT Connect assists to gain experience in real case scenarios and develop transferable skills: initiative, leadership, teamwork, adaptability, relationship building, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ngala

Ngala is Western Australia’s oldest not-for-profit community organisation. Ngala supports the growth and wellbeing of children by assisting families, parents and communities.

We are the largest TAFE college in Western Australia, with ten contemporary campuses across Perth’s north metropolitan area.

Parkerville Children and Youth Services

Parkerville CYC supports young people, children and their families with therapeutic services, education and employment training, specialist advocacy and out of home care. 

Read Write Now is a community-based volunteer organisation that offers free one-on-one tutoring for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, maths, study or basic computer skills. The program has been operating in Western Australia since 1977.

Rise

A not for profit organisation that provides support for older Australians, those living with disability or mental health issues and young people.

Shelter WA

Shelter WA are an independent peak body in WA which advocates for safe, secure, affordable housing and ending homelessness.

State Library of Western Australia

The State Library is a highly valued cultural institution for Western Australians. Serving the entire State, we enrich the lives of all Western Australians by treasuring their stories, building, preserving and sharing physical and digital collections for education and recreation, while reflecting the State’s rich heritage, diversity and history.

St Patrick’s Community Support Centre

St Pat’s work to break the cycle of homelessness and disadvantage by providing specialist, evidence based services including housing, health, welfare, emergency relief and social inclusion.

We help seniors get their needs met online using mobile devices such as iPad or iPhone, tablets or smartphones.

Umbrella Multicultural Community Care

Umbrella are an independent community based organisation that delivers services to over 1000 clients from 67 different countries, including senior Australians from LGBTQI+ backgrounds.

Uniting WA provides community services to address the causes of vulnerability and disadvantage in Western Australia.

Centre for Social Impact UWA

The Centre for Social Impact UWA (CSI UWA) creates and delivers education that transforms, research that informs best practice, and public engagement that inspires and mobilises change makers.

Volunteering WA is the peak body for volunteering in Western Australia, working across community, government, corporate and education organisations to build capacity of volunteer involving organisations, and support volunteering.

WACOSS

The Western Australian Council of Social Services (WACOSS) is the peak body for the community services sector in Western Australia. WACOSS is leading the digital inclusion initiative and has responsibility for the project governance.
