Moorditj Koort

Moorditj Koort is a community controlled, not-for-profit organisation that supports the health and wellness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples living in Western Australia. They have a range of programs to support the community.

Kwinana School Health Program

The Kwinana School Health Program provides local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with access to Health Education, Child Health Checks, GP’s, Specialist and Community Services. The Moorditj Koort Aboriginal Health Practitioner (AHP), supports and monitors the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in chosen schools. The service is FREE provided by Moorditj Koort Aboriginal Corporation.

Community Connector Program

The Moorditj Koort Community Connector Program provides guidance and advice around what the NDIS is. They do this by delivering information sessions and yarning circles to our mob so you can better understand: What the NDIS is; What the NDIS pathway process is; and How to access the NDIS. Integrated Team Care (ITC)

Integrated Team Care (ITC) is a program that supports you to better manage your Chronic condition.

Indigenous Healthy Lifestyle Program

The Indigenous Healthy Lifestyle Program (IHLP) brings together a range of free group fitness and healthy lifestyle programs supporting health and wellbeing for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across all fitness levels and life stages.

Community Liaison Officer Program (CLO Program)

A Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. The CLO Program works with local community groups to raise awareness surrounding mental health and suicide prevention in the aboriginal community.

ENT and Audiology Clinic

The ENT clinics are held monthly and is a one stop shop for families accessing Audiology and an ENT specialist on the day of the appointment, if the child is requiring surgery our ENT Specialist Dr Francis Lannigan or Dr George Sim will organise and perform surgery at one of our partnering hospitals – Rockingham General Hospital or St John of God Murdoch.
