What happens after we understand why digital inclusion matters?

Join Raffael Di Bartolomeo from Two Roads and Elliot Sawers from the WA Digital Inclusion Project for a deeper exploration of the themes, stories and recommendations emerging from Why it Matters: A Digital Inclusion Storytelling Collection.

This interactive discussion will go beyond the report launch to examine what the findings mean for policy, service delivery and community practice across Western Australia.

Together, we will explore:

  • Why digital inclusion is fundamentally about participation, dignity and human connection
  • The role trusted local organisations play in building digital ability and confidence
  • What communities told us about affordability, access and digital skills
  • Emerging themes relating to artificial intelligence and digital service delivery
  • Practical actions government, community organisations and funders can implement

The session will include reflections from the storytelling process, discussion of key findings, and opportunities for participants to ask questions and share their own experiences.

This event is ideal for policymakers, community organisations, local governments, libraries, Community Resource Centres, funders and anyone interested in building a more digitally inclusive Western Australia.

This webinar will be AUSLAN interpreted.
